Back to Bali

I extended my check out time until 2:00 pm. My flight back to Bali was at 615 pm. I went to a restaurant called The Stolen Cup for breakfast. It was a small place but very nice. I ordered a latte and a croissant French toast. The presentation was beautiful! And delicious!
There were just a couple of places left that I wanted to see in Melaka One was an old Chinese temple and very close by was a very old mosque. Melaka is so multicultural and it seems like very tolerant of each other. It’s an interesting mix of cultures.
The other thing I wanted to do was go up in this space needle type thing where the disk at the top comes down to board it. I will add pictures tomorrow. Anyway, there are seats all along the disk and the whole thing goes up to the top and rotates around as it goes up and comes down. The view is great! I could see where the river flows into the Melaka Strait. This was a big seaport which is why all these European countries fought to occupy it.
I got a salad for lunch and then checked out to go to the airport. The nice man at the front desk found a driver for me. The trip to the airport took an hour and 45 minutes. I’m really not enjoying all these transportation days. But I got through the gauntlet and got on my flight. This one was 3 hours. Finally back in Bali and in my Airbnb. It’s 11:30 pm so I’m going to sleep!
